David John Ruyle, Esq.

Mr. Ruyle is a California native and has been licensed to practice law in California since 1973.

He was among the first group of attorneys in California to qualify as a certified specialist in estate planning, probate and trust administration law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. His focus has been to work closely with clients to preserve their wealth and pass it on to future generations.

He creatively combines personal estate planning with business planning that includes forming business entities, partnerships, federal and state private placement offerings, asset protection and tax planning. In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Ruyle has extensive business and real estate investment and development experience that is invaluable in assisting his clients in these areas.

His two sons, David Jr. and Chad, have joined him in the firm and also practice in the same areas of law.

Mr. Ruyle is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the California Bar Association with membership in the Estate and Trust Division, North County Estate Planning Counsel and Association of Corporate Growth. He is a published author and frequent lecturer.

Chad Ruyle, Esq.

Chad R. Ruyle is a Principal at Ruyle & Ruyle, practicing in Estate Planning, Transfer Tax (Estate, Gift, and Generation-Skipping), Business Succession, Charitable Planning and Asset Protection.

Mr. Ruyle advises clients with regard to their basic estate plans (Trust, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives), as well as assisting his clients in evaluating and implementing various sophisticated and complex transfer tax strategies such as Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts, Installment Sales to Intentionally Defective Irrevocable Trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Charitable Trusts and Buy-Sell Agreements.

Mr. Ruyle also helps clients to protect and preserve assets through Domestic and Foreign Asset Protection Trusts as well as Dynasty Trusts. He is a published author and frequent lecturer for Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Insurance Professionals and Financial Advisors.

Mr. Ruyle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from Baylor University (2000), and a Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law (2003). He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association and the Estate Planning and Tax Sections of the California and San Diego Bar Association.

David John Ruyle, Jr., Esq.

David J. Ruyle, Jr. is a proud native of San Diego, California. In 1998, Mr. Ruyle received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Baylor University. After college he attended Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2001. He has spent time working in many areas of law from civil litigation to bankruptcy.

He soon realized he had a calling to work in the area of criminal justice. That calling started with the attendance and completion of a California POST Police Academy at Southwestern College in 2007. Shortly thereafter, he used his experience by becoming an adjunct professor at Westwood College and University of Phoenix for their Schools of Criminal Justice. His goal as a professor is to instill in all his students the importance of learning and following the fundamental principals of the United States Constitution.

In 2012, he resigned his position after two years as a sworn California Peace Officer to focus on his practice and family. He was been able to observe firsthand the criminal elements within San Diego County while and working to preserve the peace. He was also trained in the use of the PAS and Intoximeter. In addition to the more severe criminal elements he has witnessed firsthand the effect that drunk driving has on clients, friends and the community. He has appeared throughout southern California in both misdemeanor and felony matters.

In addition to assisting clients with their criminal defense, Mr. Ruyle helps those that are in financial crisis. He is able to work with those looking to file a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.
